  • Overall Review: Overall, aside from the fan issue, this is a great machine and I do recommend it.CybertronPC X-PLORER2 4240ABUQ, AMD FX Gaming PC, W7 Home Premium, CrossFireX, Black/Blue by CybertronPC One other thought, the Power supply and motherboard leaves little room for expandability, but the components are good enough to where this isn't necessary, but it's good to have the option. It's a little disappointing that this issue can easily be resolved with a little QA on the manufacturer's part, but it's not something you can't fix. You should notice a huge difference with the fan noise. From there, you will get to the 'cell menu' and that's where you will find Cool n Quiet disabled. It's okay to hit this continuously until you see a blue screen with a menu. To do this, you will need to hit the Delete key right after you hit the power button. The Cool and Quiet feature is not enabled for the CPU fan. Even for a non-gamer, great components for a machine that will last you a while, performance-wise.Ĭons: Based on the other reviews, the fans are loud like a jet plane, but there is a fix to this. It will perform well with most games at settings set to high. I typically do a DIY setup, but with the components provided, you really can't be the price. I'm absolutely impressed, it does exactly what i need it to do, boots up in 15 seconds and I've never had an issue with it. If you want a computer that can play everything out now out of the box, this is great if all you've got is around $800.

    GAMER ULTRA CROSSFIREX FX UPGRADE

Its not great in the department of upgradability, but its got enough power behind it that you wont need to upgrade in the near future anyway. Overall Review: Despite the above cited drawbacks, this machine is hefty for the price tag. Still, Cyberpower should know better on that one. Its so cheap to do, its easy to overlook this mistake. It really does suck, 350W is just enough to power these components, leaving no room for upgradability. not to mention the motherboard doesn't support PCIe 3.0, which isn't a huge concern, but it seems for only slightly more they could have put a much better board on this.

The motherboard isn't incredible either, it only has two RAM slots, which is a pretty sizable pain for future upgrading. That being said, it does have plenty of space, but I would much rather have a faster drive with less storage. In comparison to the processor and video card, its a lumbering dinosaur. Only game I've opted for turning off a few extra graphical settings to bump up frame rate was Tomb Raider, and I'm absolutely okay with that in this price range.Ĭons: The hard drive is a pretty big bottleneck on this build. This machine is perfectly capable of playing all games I have tested it with on the highest possible settings at a reasonable fps. It runs quieter then I expected it to, and I've had absolutely no problem with it thus far. Pros: Amazing components for the price, the processor is astonishing, and the graphics card is really powerful for a computer in this price range.
